Lisa Joerin
Managing Partner
Lisa Joerin is a CPA and has been providing audit and tax services for various not-for-profit organizations of different types and sizes; small business and individual income tax and estate planning for 30 years. She has an extensive knowledge base of the accounting and auditing standards, tax, and estate regulations as they apply to individuals, small businesses, and not-for-profits. Her passion is providing support to non-profit and charitable organizations. She is a member of AICPA, the Oregon Society of CPAs, and is licensed in both Oregon and Washington.
Melissa Andal
Partner
Melissa Andal is a CPA with over 20 years of public accounting and tax experience. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Oregon University in 1997, passed the board exams and received her CPA license in 1998. During her tenure at Simpson & Company, she has worked extensively with small businesses and not-for-profit organizations performing attest and tax services. Melissa also worked for larger corporations for four years, where she gained experience in regulatory, benefits accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and compliance monitoring.
Mary Cooley
Paraprofessional
Mary Cooley joined Simpson and Company in January of 2013. She has 30 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience. Mary is responsible for tax return data input as well as business bookkeeping and payroll processing for various clients.
Peggi Crawford
Paraprofessional
Peggi Crawford works with several small business clients with their bookkeeping, AP, AR, payroll, tax filings, reconciliations, and billing, and has been known to help out with data input during tax season.
Christina Parsons
Christina is our administrative assistant and keeps our front office running smoothly.
